My due date is like 5 weeks away. I approximately 5 weeks I will be a mommy. I still have a hard time believing it.
The radiologist says that my amniotic fluid level is "normal low" which can mean trouble if it gets lower. Therefore my babydoc wants to see me every week from now on. Everything is FINE, but we just have to monitor the situation to make sure that it doesn't get worse. But no worries, Spencer is a big healthy boy and he's not in any trauma whatsoever. Other than the fact that it's difficult to take photos of him because there's not much fluid in front of his face, we are right as rain.
Baby Spencer has situated himself with his head down by my uterus. That explains all the kicking he's been doing to my ribs! Seriously, this boy is a madman!
He's gotten to be so big that you can't get sonogram pictures of his entire body. I have pics and videos of little bits and pieces of him.
Here's a video of his little face. Moving his lips for the audience already!
Baby Spencer's heartbeat. You can see the four chambers of the heart and everything!
We have more videos than this, but these are actually the best ones, considering that we couldn't focus on much of his body at once.
How about some pictures?
This is a picture of the top of his head. Yes, according to the nurse, he has a lot of hair already.
His wee little face - I know they aren't too clear, but like I said, it was difficult with the lack of fluid surrounding his face. He's sort of smushed at this point.
Here's a little profile shot of him. What a darling.
Baby boy parts! Again!!! (just for reassurance hehe)
These last pics were the nurse's attempt to give me some 3D shots. They were difficult to get because the 3Dimaging picks up all the mass...so if there's not much fluid, you'll get lots of stuff in the way of his little face. (stuff=Shonna's uterus - which I just know you were all dying to see)
Look, one of his little feet!
The rest of these are his face. You have to peer through my UTERUS to see him, but LOOK AT MY LITTLE BOY!
What a long long day it's been. I'm going to bed now. I hope Spencer lets me sleep a lot tonight. I need it!
I'm going to post pictures of the NURSERY (OMG) probably tomorrow. If I don't get around to it, I'll do it when I get back from San Antonio on Sunday/Monday.
