FLASHBACK FRIDAY!

So many videos of cartoon intros and theme songs under the cut:

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles intro cannot be found on youtube.

I also LOOOOVED THE LITTLES!!!!!!

Tiny Toons was probably my FAVORITE show at the time it was on....I STILL remember the entire theme song. Then again, I still remember the theme song for Duck Tales, Gummy Bears, Transformers & Thundercats as well. :P

I watched all of these shows. Some obsessively and some just sometimes.
I'm sure there are other cartoons I watched, I just got tired of looking for videos. Fraggle Rock (which they won't let you embed), The Jetsons, The Flintstones, Scooby Doo, Tom & Jerry, Inspector Gadget, etc. Just makes me remember how many good cartoons there were back in the day.

Which shows did you watch as a kid? Any I haven't listed?
WHEW! Okay, I'm done. There were SO MANY MORE Y'all. I had to cut it off somewhere! Hahaha

:P

If they would bring back Saturday morning cartoons like they used to be....that is probably what I would do every Saturday morning: watch cartoons with my little boy.

The Gummi Bears were the BEST EVER.

Oh mannnnnn, Alvin and the Chipmunks! I hadn't seen that intro in so long, and my little five-year-old soul is bouncing with glee and annoying his parents.

Also, Tiny Toon Adventures remains second only to Animaniacs in terms of amazing cartoons, I don't care what anyone says. Humour that works on one level for kids but on another level for parents, ridiculous voices, an overabundance of meta, oh my goodness such the very best and I'm so glad I grew up when they were on TV. (Now if only they'd put Wishbone on DVD I could completely regress!)

I loved the cartoons of my childhood. I think there are good ones now, but they are mostly for very little kids. I'm annoyed by the fact that Saturday Morning TV isn't the awesome it used to be.

Fucking Gummi Bears!!! I sing that shit at least once a week, no joke. I once had a huge debate with basically my entire international law class about whether such a show actually existed. They all claimed it didn't. I proceeded to wow them with the theme song, and then I fucking Googled that shit and made the professor hook the laptop up to the projection system just so I could prove I was right. It was awesome. Luckily, the professor thought I was hilarious and he allowed such shenanigans.

I...........have a feeling we'll be singing it together BERRY SOON.

That is a hilarious amazing story and I LOVE that they didn't believe you, so you were like "here, have some charts/graphs/and more FUCKING PROOF, OKAY!" Empirical data FTW!
SHENANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE. I got TIRED of looking and remembering and listing, okay! And I was really into Beetlejuice.

Also, in the very beginning it was just called Ghostbusters....when the cartoon debuted, right after the 1st Ghostbusters movie. At some point they changed it to The REAL Ghostbusters.

YOUR CHILDHOOD? I'm the one that made this awesomecrazy post!

Isn't this just exactly the kind of post you needed on a Friday/Saturday morning?

:D :D :D
